To say this season wasn’t a long one, would taste a lie. It could have been the added Ohio State Oval Series races or the number of on road races. Either way, all my oval cars need a break that summer will provide. All our cars have been running hard this season. There has been a lot of stiff competition. Several of my fellow racers have gotten a lot faster as the season went on. I am definitely going to have to dig deeper to find some more speed for my cars for next season.
It is always great to see some of our newer races go from rookie of the year to season veterans. It is also great watching some of the racers hit that moment where things finally “sink-in”, the stars finally align for them and the racers make large leaps in skill and speed. I personally have experienced some of this and have watched a number of fellow racers experience this as well. Whether I am competing directly with them or just watching them race, it is always fun and exciting to see. Congratulations to all my fellow racers this past season.
